signData

Signs CIP-8 / CIP-30 / CIP-95 data and returns a DataSignature. Cardano.

🔴 CIP-1852 only. Send m/1852'/1815'/…. On legacy m/44'/1815'/… this method is refused (method_not_found, -32601) — that tree is plain-transfer only and no firmware upgrade opens it. (On a DCENT Biometric Wallet below 2.35.0 the WalletConnect capability gate fires first and you see device_fw_incompatible (5005); every DCENT X firmware meets its 1.0.0 floor, so there it is always -32601.) On m/1852' it also needs DCENT Biometric Wallet 2.36.2 / DCENT X 1.0.1 or higher; below that the device does not report the CIP-1852 coin entry and the call fails with device_fw_incompatible (5005).
