FAQ

Common questions when integrating the connector.

Do users need to install the DCENT Bridge?

No. v2 connects directly from the browser over WebHID or Web Bluetooth. Call setTransport.

Is WebUSB supported?

No. USB connectivity is provided through WebHID. The transport values are 'hid' and 'ble'.

What do I broadcast after signing?

body.parameter.signature — the serialized signed transaction for that network (e.g. EVM RLP for eth_sendRawTransaction) — the exact form depends on the network (for example Cosmos returns <signature>.<pubkey>.<txRaw>, and Filecoin, Constellation and HAVAH return a bare signature you attach yourself); see the network page. See V1Response.

Where is the full list of chainIds?

The Support Matrix and the connector's playground/chains.json (168 entries for 151 distinct chainIds — some chainIds appear more than once, one entry per account type; the matrix covers mainnets, EVM testnets and Shibuya; the other 23 non-EVM testnets and Kaia Kairos are not in the matrix).

Which method do I call?

Everything signs through sign(). Pick signTransaction / signMessage / signTypedData / signData / signAuthEntry per the matrix.
